Good stop for us as we had just driven up from Salamanca in Spain so we were just looking for a bed for the night that wasn't too expensive. The greet hotel met this requirement and indeed surprised us how comfortable and clean it was. They even had a bar where we could get a drink and snack. The receptionist and bar lady were wonderful and spoke perfect English. Given that we only have school day french this was very helpful. If we find ourselves in that part of the world again it's a definite stop over.

Good, out of town location. Great for a night stop. Lots of free parking. The rooms are small but the beds are comfortable and the linen a good quality. There are plenty of electric sockets and the wifi is good. The buffet breakfast is good value for money. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

Fantastic bar/ restaurant on site and breakfast is definitely worth having. They use all local produce. Dinner was excellent too. It's a lovely space to relax, and a nice garden with chickens and a rabbit. We have stayed here a couple of times for a stopover with our dog. Easy to get into Angouleme old town. Rooms are small but very comfortable. Great for dogs as has a massive field for them to run in. Really friendly and helpful staff. Near the motorway but the double glazing is great you really can't hear anything. Free parking.

We were so happy we chose to Greet Hotel. The beds were the most comfortable we’ve had on our road trip and the facilities in the restaurant/bar were amazing. The food was great and the staff were brilliant. We highly recommend. We also loved the shutters in the room so no need for curtains. We had the best night sleep followed by a delicious breakfast.

We were very pleasantly surprised, we arrived after midnight and were very quickly checked in. The room was a good size, the beds were very comfortable, we put the blind down and closed the inner door and did not hear any traffic from the busy N10, or any other noise. The restaurant was very tastefully decorated, it had a wraparound garden, it was very peaceful to sit by the window with our coffees the next morning overlooking it.

Always love this place which has very friendly and helpful staff. Although we didn't have breakfast this time, we remember it as being rather substantial last time. We will definitely be taking the breakfast next time.

Good overnight stay on the way to the ferry. Very comfortable bed. The restaurant/reception was very pretty and relaxing, we were checked in by a very helpful person and enjoyed a couple of beers overlooking the garden. Despite it being near the N10, there was no traffic noise. Nice coffee the next morning.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Check in, check out process was easy and quick. It has shops and supermarket nearby. The rooms have aircon and it has plenty of parking space.

An ideal 'short' stop on a long journey. We used this for just an 9-10 hour stop , sleep and refresh before continuing our journey. Easy access to / from the main road and plenty of parking. Friendly welcoming staff and a comfortable (though rather small) room. Nice reception area, restaurant and bar. We will look to stay for a couple of nights the next time we make this journey

I booked last minute and arrived around 9.15pm. I had a lovely welcome and was even able to order food and a beer. Plenty of parking and a good, comfortable and quiet night. Breakfast was great too with a large selection to choose from. Thank you for a very nice stay.
